The Cobra 48’ was designed as a prototype high speed boat for offer for both pleasure boat customers and to government authorities in the middle east. Q-SPD SD200-F drives are driven by Seatek 820hp engines producing exceptional acceleration and speed. The choice of Q-SPD fixed drives over trimmable alternatives was largely a response to the local market preference of a “push and go” system that did not require operator intervention to maintain correct propeller trim.

Q-SPD SD offered a compact low maintenance system, was easy to install and set up. Interceptor propellers allowed easy tuning in for optimum performance.
